Yes, you may call her Jiggly. Trans actress/activist/singer and "RuPaul’s Drag Race" season 4 alumni Jiggly Caliente today released her autobiographical debut hip hop album, "T.H.O.T. Process." The album is available for pre-order now and includes instant download of the first four tracks. The entire album will be available everywhere on Friday, March 9.
A blend of Jiggly’s favorite musical genres including hip hop, latin, dance and bounce, "T.H.O.T. Process" features guest vocals by Alaska Thunderfuck, Ginger Minj, Jaremi Carey, Manila Luzon, Peppermint and Sharon Needles, and includes an introduction by RuPaul. The album was co-produced by Producer Entertainment Group and Killingsworth Recording Company. It marks the 20th studio album released by her label, PEG Records.
"I’ve always been inspired by musical women like Missy Elliott, Lil Kim and Salt N Pepa, who are vocal about their views on sex and the world," said Jiggly. "As I was writing this album, I felt so sick of men getting a pat on the back for their sexual conquests, while women get branded as hoes or harlots. I wanted to own my own sexual liberation while celebrating everything I love, from my hometown of NY to my Pinoy heritage to my affinity for trap and bounce music," she added.
The first single and music video were also released today. "FCKBOI" tells the story of Jiggly working as a geisha in a pan-Asian watering hole. As men vie for her affection, offering larger and larger sums of money for her time, Jiggly finally emerges from an 18th century antique opium bed, surrounded by handmaidens. She proceeds with an elaborate fan dance, taking the winning man’s money before giving him a major surprise. The music video for "FCKBOI" was shot on location at the Japanese Cultural Village, the private gallery/showroom of art collector and designer Peter Lai, in Los Angeles.
